Women’s Double Mini-trampoline Qualifications
BIRMINGHAM (GBR), FIG Office, November 18, 2011: 2010 World Champion Corissa Boychuk (CAN) led the Double Mini-trampoline qualifications this morning despite being less than confident with her condition.
“I’m relieved! I was very nervous because I am not as well prepared as I was last year.”
This reaction is understandable because Bianca Zoonekynd (RSA) qualified for the final in second place but with the same total score. The remaining qualifiers are packed together, separated by an almost unbelievable margin of 0.4! Home supporters will be delighted to see both Adeva Bryan and Robyn Osborne qualify in sixth and seventh places which will guarantee a high noise volume during Sundays’ final.
The individual qualifications also determined the composition of the team final which will be a featured event on Saturday evening. Portugal is in pole position followed by Russia, Canada, USA and Great Britain.
